GA Power Vegetation Management

Vegetation Management

Within the next few weeks, Georgia Power crews will be working in Milledgeville and Eatonton, Baldwin and Putnam Counties to improve the safety and reliability of the energy grid in your neighborhood. Trees and tree limbs coming into contact with our power lines is a leading cause of service interruptions.

Our qualified contractors will be trimming and, in some cases, removing trees near the lines and within the right-of-way (ROW). Keeping our ROWs clear of vegetation allows crews to safely access power lines and restore power more quickly if an outage occurs. We employ a staff of professional utility arborists and specialized contractors to ensure that the work is of high quality and performed safely.

You will be contacted again if any of the work needs to be performed on your property. We respect your property and will work with you to ensure a satisfactory experience.

For questions, concerns, or to speak with the arborist in charge of the work, please reach out to our Customer Support Team at (404) 506-LAND or georgiapowertrees@southernco.com.
